Autumn Leaves
The falling leaves
Drift by the window
The autumn leaves
Of red and gold
Summer is slowing fading and the crisp air of fall is is in the air. I have never known the leaves to turn their colors this early but yet here it is September
and the trees show the signs of autumn. Their leaves are changing from green to orange. The days are
getting shorter and the nights are colder.
The signs of autumn are every where!
The geese
are flying south for the winter.
The squirrels are gathering acorns to store away.
Farmers and gardeners are harvesting their furits and vegetable and setting up stands everywhere.
Young boys are seen through out the neighborhood
raking leaves.
Soon we will be bring in the flower pots
and putting our
scarecrows out by the front door!
Before you know it Winter will be here!
