"Family Members" close to me that I wish never to forget!![]()

"Rosalie R. (McCalley) Kidman" (1945-1988)
Born "Rosalie Ruby McCalley" to Clifford and Ruby (Manis) McCalley on July 7, 1945 in the small town of Dowagiac, Michigan, county of Cass.
My wife of 21 years. Married June 3, 1967, Died October 27, 1988
On March 2, 1988, "Rozi" (her nickname) was diagnosed with CML, (Chronic Mythological Leukemia) and Milo Fibrous. On July 26, 1988 she under went a bone marrow transplant to cure the CML and hopefully the Milo Fibrous. The bone marrow transplant did cure the CML, but not the Milo Fibrous. Her death was due to GVHD, Guest-Vs-host disease sever.
The person she was, caring, loving and warm to all, young and old. She loved the little people, young children, and made every moment count with them. Whether a baseball, football, soccer or band mother she was there, doing what ever had to be done. She believed that every child should have the chance to develop into the person they wanted to be and she helped to make that happen.

"Terrence Francis Kidman" (1923-1995)
My father, the person who helped me, scolded me and corrected me through the early years of my life.
There were times in my teens that we did not see eye to eye and at times the tension was very high between the both of us, but we both got through those times and ended up better for it.
The thing I will always remember is after I was married, he was not only my father, he became my best friend and we became very close before his demise, that I am very thankful for and hope my son's and I can do the same.

"George Richard Kidman" (1917-1989)
My father's older brother, my uncle, a farmer/carpenter most of his life. He knew how to treat the younger generation, with dignity and respect.
Many times I spent on his farm learning the daily chores and I looked forward going as often as possible. It was hard work, but enjoyable learning what is expected of farmers and their family members.
I will miss his smile and voice as he would give direction or just to say a greeting.
