Nice information about the Peckham name. I love working on geneology. I was in London, England this summer and I spent time in Peckham. I had great fun taking photos of "Peckham" signs. I also went to the local library and purchased some books on the istory of Peckham, England.

I'm very glad to find others who share my surname after living places where there were no other Peckhams. My father, Edward Willam Peckham was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1905. His father, Edward Edmund was also born there in 1871. My great grandfathe came from England just following the American civil war.
