ADOPTION- Was the person brought into the family through legal or other means and raised into the new family.
Were they adopted?

BAPTISM - the ceremony or sacrament of admitting person into Christianity or a specific christian church by immersing the individual in water or by pouring or sprinkling water on the individual, as a symbol washing away sin and of spiritual purification. When and Where were they baptized?

BURIAL - The burying of a dead body ; interment.
Where and When was the body buried?

CREMATION - To burn a dead body to ashes. Was the the person cremated?

CENSUS - An official usually periodic, count of population, and recording of economic status, age, sex, etc.

CHRISTENING - The christian act or ceremony of baptizing and giving a name to an infant ; baptism.
When and When ?

CONFIRMATION - A nonsacramental rite admitting to full church membership.
When and where?

EDUCATION - When and Where did they go to school. (grammer, grade school, elementary) ; (junior, middle school) ;
(high school , secondary school); homeschooled , one roomed school. Did they attend college? Did they get an degree?

ELECTED - Were they elected to an office, commitee etc.; Public or Privite?

EMIGRATION - The act of leaving one's country or region for another. What country did they leave?
How and when did they?

1ST COMMUNION - First time the person shared bread and/or wine in Holy Communion.

GRADUATION - When did they graduate from highschool and/or college?

IMMIGRATION -The act of coming into a new country or region in order to settle there.
When and Where did they immigrate to?

MILITARY SERVICE - What did they do? Was in a war? What unit was with? Any medals or letters?
What branch(Army , Navy, Airforce , Marines.) Confedrate or Union Soldier? Army AirCorp before becoming Airforce

NAMESAKE- (Earlier name's sake) A person with the same name as another , especialy if named after the other.

NATIONATLITY - The status of belonging to a particular nation by birth or naturalization ; identification as to national origin.

NATURALIZATION - The process of obtaining citizenship.

OCCUPATION - What did they do for a living ? What was their job?

PROPERTY - What did they own? Did they own land ?

RELIGION - What religion were they ? What were their beliefs? Where did they attend worship?

RESIDENCE - Where did they live?

RETIREMENT - How old and when did they stop working? Where did they retire at?

SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER - (SSN) In the U.S a federal system of old age, umemployment, or disability insurance for various categories of employed and dependent persons, financed by a fund maintained jointly by employees, employers and governement. A good source for information on and individual.;like mothers maiden name, birthdate , residency etc.
Look for their number in the Social Security Death Index.

WILL - A legal document stating the wishes of an individual after their death. Did they have a will and who were the benefited from the will.?
