You have propably a couple of emailadresses in your adress book from the people you are writing to. Sometimes you have a note/letter which you have to send to more than one person. If this group of people is getting often messages from you it would save you a great deal of time to put all of them in a list. Not a mailinglist but just a list in your mailprogram. Instead of sending picking them from the adress book you just choose to send to a list.

The problem is solved for you - but if one of the receivers wants to answer to all people you wrote to including yourself she would not have the list of adresses.

The same problem I saw for all Willig dropping in once in a while. Some Willig have exchanged their adresses but new members are joining us and people get new emailadresses. With the mailinglist it is possible to reach all subscribed Willig in sending one messsage to wwwillig@egroups.com.

You will not have any trouble in updating the list of subsribed Willig and an other benefit is worth to be mentioned. All posted messages are grouped and listed at the home of the wwwillig mailinglist. Those Willig who have not discoveredthe World  Wide Willig will be glad  to all have access  to old postings.
