While Jesus walked this earth, He demonstrated great compassion for the lonely, troubled, sick, and hurting people of His day. He then turned and challenged His followers to do the same. In an effort to carry this great, yet rewarding responsibility, we, the Colusa First Baptist Church, have renewed our commitment to the Lord, this community, our friends, and our neighbors.
As a result, A New Day Is Dawning here at Colusa First Baptist. We would like to invite you to join with us as we continue to seek God’s will for our church, those living in our community and beyond. If you do not live nearby, perhaps you will be passing our way some day and would like to spend some time worshiping and studying God's Word with us. Or maybe you are planning to move into our area. During your stay, we would be pleased to have you make this your home church.

God created us to worship him. At First Baptist Church Of Colusa this goal is foremost in our services and activities. Always striving to meet the needs of its faithful, our focus remains on following and being obedient to the "Shepherd", Jesus Christ. Experiencing God to the fullest in all we do requires us to love God and our neighbor as ourself. Worship drives our prayers, our service to one another, and our commitment to this Church and God.
We want to provide a loving and supportive experience based on Biblical principles and honest concern for one another. Foremost in our services is the word of God and cheerful and joyous worship of our Lord.

Colusa First Baptist offers a variety of activities for people of all ages to worship and grow in their knowledge of the lord. Beginning with our bible study on Sunday morning, classes are offered to study and learn from the Bible in small classes based on a variety of study materials. Classes are generally based on age groups, and so we have something just for you; whether you are a young child, a teen, young adult, median adult, or enjoying your senior years, we have something to offer you. For those parents who prefer, we do offer Child care with all church-wide activities.
And remember, Family activities are strongly encouraged.

HOW TO JOIN |
You can become a part of First Baptist Church Of Colusa and its fellowship by profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, giving evidence of a change of heart and commitment to baptism by immersion; by letter from another church of like faith and practice, who accepts the views and practices as adopted by this church; or by statement of previous baptism by immersion upon profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and who accepts the views of faith and practice as adopted by this church.
At the close of each of our worship services, we sing an invitational hymn and those who desire to come forward and express their desire for committed fellowship may do so. All believers are encouraged to join in Bible study and to grow in their faith by study and prayer.
