Obituary Canning, Fred W., in Oakland July 20, 1967, dearly beloved husband of Edith M. Canning; loving father of Mrs. Myra Conti of Oakland and Mel Canning of Santa Rosa; devoted grandfather of Gregory Conti, Lynn Douglas and Larry Canning. A native of Oakland; aged 80 years. Freinds are invited to attend services at the East Oakland Chapel of Grant Miller Mortuaries, 2372 East 14th St., Oakland, Saturday July 22 at 2 p.m., Rev Ronald Smith of the Hillside Presbyterian Churc officiating. Services to be concluded at the Mortuary Chapel. Internment in the Mountain View Cemetery.
