Obituary of Frank Jerome Thompson Thompson- March 15,1943, Frank Jerome (Trocke), dearly beloved husband of Annie Esther Thompson, loving father of Thomas Edward, Charles Daniel and Leland James Thompson and private Francis Wesley Thompson, U.S. Army; a native of Maine, aged 83 years. Friends are invited to attend funeral services Wednesday, March 17, at 11 a.m. from the drawing room chapel of the Ellis Co. Mortuary, 727 San Pablo avenue, Albany. Commital service , Chapel of the Chimes, California Crematorium. Family tradition has it that Frank Thompson was not his real name but that it did start with a T. It could have been Trocke as mentioned above. The story was he jumped ship in Maine and came to California. Note: In the 1900 Census of Eden Town Hancock County Maine there is a Frank Thompson Born 1858 in Maine. He had a wife Carrie born 1860 in Maine and 5 children. Arien male born 1885, Sherlay male born 1888, Verrill male born 1889, Arliene female born 1892 and Thelma J born 1897 a female. Could he have deserted them and came to California?
