Fremont & Elkhorn Valley Railroad

1219 - 1952 ex CNW Emd SW1200 Diesel Switcher

Conductor Al doing brakeman's duty!!

The 1219 built we believe in 1952 for the CNW as their number 319 has been the workhorse of the NRM for the last 10 years. She was named after one of our members who met an untimely death, Glenn Bales. The NRM purchased 1219 from the CNW in the mid-eighties. Originally in CNW green it was repainted into company colours by volunteers late in that same decade.

Hey what's that behind the FEVR locomotive?
