What Dorothy looks like on the Inside.
Well she's a far cry from the bridge of the USS Enterprise; or even the cab of an SD90MAC. However, Dorothy has all the necessary controls in all the right places to operate in revenue service on the FEVR.
Dorothy was completely rewired in 1996. She has a radiator heater just like the family car that allows her to remain outside in below zero weather without constantly running.
As you can plainly see; Dorothy utilises a single traction motor per truck and connects to the other axle with a chain drive.
