SIMEON HENRY STEWART

Simeon Henry Stewart, born 1823 in Greene County, Georgia. He died in Morgan County, Georgia in 1886. Simeon married Sara Ann Stephens (a relative of Alexander H. Stephens), on October 18, 1844, in Greene County, Georgia (?). She was born 1826 in Taliaferro County, Georgia. She died 1872, in Greene County, Georgia.

(2) Emily Jeanette Stewart, born 1846 Greene County, Georgia. Married John H. Reynolds, Nov.12, 1867.

(3) Nancy A. Stewart, born 1852 Greene County, Georgia. Married George P. Hancock Oct 29, 1874, Greene County, Georgia.

(4) Mary Ann "Annie" Stewart, born 1855 Greene County Geogia. Married W.F. (Wellborn) Wilborn.

(5) Olin (Henry) Stewart, born 1857

(6) Harriett "Hattie" Stewart, born 1859 Greene County Georgia. Married H.V. Davis.

(7) Alexander H. Stewart, born 1860 Greene County, Georgia Died 1910, Macon, Bibb County, Georgia

(8) Harvey Rush Stewart, born 1863, died April 19, 1938.

(9) Homer Hendee Stewart, born April 28, 1866, Greene County, Georgia. Died June 27, 1911, Columbia County, Georgia. Married Georgia Maddox, April 3, 1887

*Simeon was a Greene County Surveyor and is listed on the historical marker in front of Crawfordville Court House.*
