Preserve Flower Arrangements

After a wedding or party, there's always an abundance of leftover flowers that no one knows what to do with. Well, why not save those floral arrangements by drying them.

Materials Needed

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. Pull out flowers that will not keep or dry well from arrangement. For example: daisies and lilies.
  2. Also, pull out the greens, as they will turn brown and will keep the flowers from drying properly.
  3. Place arrangement in a dry, dark place. With rose bouquets, separate the flowers so they don't touch one another, pull off the leaves and hang upside down.
  4. When the flowers are dry, replace the open spaces left from taking out the greens with silk greens.
  5. You can also use eucalyptus as a filler for rose bouqets.
  6. Spray hairspray on dried arrangements. This keeps the flowers from falling off the arrangements.

Happy Crafting.
