Materials Needed:
-
Glassware of your choice.Clear, frosted or pastel-colored glass works best.
-
Enamel glass paint
-
Flexi-stamps,or sponges cut into various shapes, craft pouncers, stamps
made from foamie sheets,or any other object you would like to use as a
stamp.
-
Rubber stamps
-
Flat-edge paintbrush or applicator sponge
-
Fine tip refillable paint bottle
Step-By-Step Instructions:
-
Clean glass surface thoroughly before stamping.
-
Apply an even amount of paint on raised stamp using a flat-edge paintbrush
or applicator sponge. Multiple colors maybe applied to different sections
of the stamp. Try using two more shades of a color for a dimensional look.
-
Apply stamp to area using pressure with finger tips, for smooth and curved
surfaces. Make sure you press firmly over entire stamp.
-
Lift stamp gently off surface.
-
When finished or when changing colors, clean your stamp by blotting the
remaining paint on a folded, damp paper towel, making sure all paint is
cleaned from stamp. Clean paintbrush with water immediately after using.
This is a very nice project exspecially when there all lite up in the
night time, I fine that they give a romantic feeling.
