Picture Wastebaskets
Materials Needed:
- Wastebasket
- Pictures ( color copies if easier)
- Gold paint (optional)
- Glue-Mod Podge
- Sponge brush
- Acrylic finish
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Paint wastepaper basket gold if necessary.
- Cut out picture(s) in desired size and shape. If image is stiff, you
may want to make a color copy of it. It will be easier to manage. ( I use
the exact square shape of the image from one of my old calendars ).
- Glue picture to the basket with a small foam brush. Overlap multiple
images if you wish to create that decoupage effect.
- Let dry.
- Apply a couple of coats of acrylic sealer to your wastebasket and leave
each coat completely dry. You can also wipe off your wastebasket with a
damp cloth.When it gets dusty.
NOTE: Never soak any type of project that is done like
this or reverse collage or , decoupage The water will ruin your project.
Just wash and dry that's it.
HINT: Recycle your old cards, calendars, etc. for this project
as well.
