Picture Wastebaskets

Materials Needed:

Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Paint wastepaper basket gold if necessary.
  2. Cut out picture(s) in desired size and shape. If image is stiff, you may want to make a color copy of it. It will be easier to manage. ( I use the exact square shape of the image from one of my old calendars ).
  3. Glue picture to the basket with a small foam brush. Overlap multiple images if you wish to create that decoupage effect.
  4. Let dry.
  5. Apply a couple of coats of acrylic sealer to your wastebasket and leave each coat completely dry. You can also wipe off your wastebasket with a damp cloth. When it gets dusty.

NOTE: Never soak any type of project that is done like this or reverse collage or , decoupage The water will ruin your project. Just wash and dry that's it.

HINT: Recycle your old cards, calendars, etc. for this project as well.
