from Germany. Arrived in Port of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1741 on the ship
Molly with his wife, Magdalena and sons, Frederick and Hans Michel.
Their son, Frederick Herb and his wife, Ursula Peters were both from Germany.
Frederick was given land in Savannah, Ga. and on the Ogeechee River through English
Crown Grants. The Herb River was named after this family.
He was married to Magdalena DIRNBEK-HERB on Jan 3 1727 in Katholisch, Genenbach.
Offenburn, Baden. Their names were listed as Joannes Herp and Magdalena Dirnbek
on the IGA index at the LDS web site. Johann Michael HERB
