4. HUGH KENNEDY was born Late 1720's or 1730's in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. At a meeting of the President and Assistants in Council Assembled for the Colony of Georgia on Wednesday the 8th day of August, 1753. Those present: Patrick Graham, President; James Habersham, Noble Jones, and Francis Harris, Assistants.
Read a petition of Hugh Kennedy, Brother of William Kennedy, wherein he prayed for 100 acres of Land. The Board Ordered 50 acres of land laid out for Hugh Kennedy, where he requested.
Council Chambers. At Savannah, Georgia. Tuesday, September 1, 1761.
Read petition of Hugh Kennedy, setting forth that he had a track of land laid out for him on the Savannah River; and his brother had also land laid out for him in the same place which by survey, and the lines extending to the river, intersects the track laid out for the petitioner, and takes off about 50 acres. That on each side of petitioner's land next the river are remaining two small pieces vacant which together were supposed to make up the quantity taken off from the other part of land. therefore, praying for the two vacant pieces in lieu of what was taken off from his track. Petition Granted.
Council Chambers. At Savannah, Georgia. Tuesday, June 1, 1762
Read petition of Hugh Kennedy setting forth that he had had 200 acres of land granted to him and was desirous to obtain an additional track, having a wife and four children. Therefore, praying for one hunderd and fifty acres between lands granted Caleb Howell and the mouth of Briar Creek for the convenience of cowpen.
Resolved that on the prayer of the said petition be granted.

He was married to Mrs. SCHREPS on Sep 22 1756. HUGH KENNEDY and Mrs. SCHREPS had the following children:
