Here's how to make the Watermark Text at the top:

1. Type Black text on a white background. Deselect your text.

2. Erode (Image, Other, Erode) 4 times. Now Blur More (Image, Blur, Blur More) once, now you have this:

   

3. Set Colors, Adjust, Brightness/Contrast: Brightness = 50, Contrast = 59

4. Switch your colors so that White is your foreground color. Type the text again in the same spot you typed the black text. Deselect it.
