- They have birth records since October 1907, death records since 1900, and marriage and divorce records since 1958. For earlier birth and death records, check with the Health Officer in the County where the event took place. For divorce records, you can also check with the County Clerk in the county where the divorce was granted. For marriage records, you can also check with the Clerk of the Circuit Court or Clerk of the Superior Court in the County where the license was issued.
