- They have birth and death records since July 1893, marriage records since July 1925, and divorce indexes since July 1949. Call for costs. For marriage records, you can also check with the County Judge in the County where the license was issued. For divorce records, you can also check with the Clerk of the District Court in the County where the divorce was granted.

- Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30, closed Saturday, Sunday, and all state holidays.
- They have federal and state census records, naturalization records, local histories, cemetery listings, WPA biographies, oral histories, regional history books, a Native American collection, all North Dakota newspapers, obituaries, a death index on computer, a listing of war veterans, photo archives, atlases from 1890, and maps.
