Old Perlican

Hugh Burt: planter in 1675 as stated by sir J. Berry

Richard Burt: Master mariner of Southhampton Hampshire England, who sold a plantation in Old Perlican in 1717 as mentioned in the 1728 Burt Plantation Lease.

James Burt: Repurchased the aformentioned plantation in 1725 and permanetly settled in Old Perlican

Richard Burt: Born in Christchurch, Hampshire, England came to Old Perlican with his father James in 1728, a boy of 16 yrs. He died at Old Perlican in 1728 aged 76 ( Authority: Tombstone inscription weslyn methodist cemetary, Old Perlican)
