General Notes: In 1817 they and their family emigrated from Germany to the state of Pennsylvania. He was a farmer in Blooming Grove.

Christian married Catherine Elizabeth Guinther. Catherine was born on 24 Feb 1764 in Germany ¹, died on 29 Apr 1838 ¹ and was buried in Blooming Grove Cemetery, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, PA ¹.

Their children were:

   6 F    i. Mary Heim was born on 12 Sep 1791 ¹.

   8 F    iii. Elizabeth Heim was born on 26 Aug 1796 ¹. The cause of her death was homesickness.

+ 9 M    iv. Christian Heim was born on 26 Oct 1799 ¹, died on 30 Mar 1879 ¹ and was buried in Blooming Grove Cemetery, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, PA ¹.

General Notes: He was a weaver and a farmer in Blooming Grove. The death of the mother was a great loss to this family. The oldest girl, Margaret, then 16, took up the care of the house and family under poineer hardships. Although there is no record to that effect, it is a matter of legend that the two youngest children also died during the passage, one being
buring in Holland, and one on an island to which they were blown from their course during a storm at sea.

Jacob married Christina Gohl. Christina Gohl died in 1817 in On The Passage To America ¹ and was buried in At Sea.

   10 M    i. Christian Heim was born on 7 Mar 1799 ¹ and died on 10 Feb 1885 ¹.

He never married.

+ 11 F    ii. Margaretha Heim was born on 28 Oct 1801 in Möehringen, Wüerttemberg, Germany ¹, died in 1889 in Rose Valley, Gamble Township, Lycoming County, PA ¹ and was buried in Blooming Grove Cemetery, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, PA.

   12 F    iii. Anna Mary Heim was born on 8 Jun 1801 ¹ and died on 28 Mar 1885 ¹.

General Notes: Always was called "Amarallie".

She never married.

+ 13 M    iv. Gottlieb Heim was born on 11 Jan 1804 in Möehringen, Wüerttemberg, Germany ¹, died on 1 Feb 1881 in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County, PA ¹ and was buried in Blooming Grove Cemetery, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, PA ¹.

+ 14 M    v. Jacob Heim was born on 20 Mar 1806 in Wüerttemberg, Germany ¹, died on 4 Feb 1885 in Blooming Grove, Lycoming County, PA ¹ and was buried in Blooming Grove Cemetery, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, PA ¹.

   15 M    vi. John Heim was born on 8 Feb 1811 ¹.

   16 M    vii. Michael Heim was born on 29 Sep 1815 ¹.
