Following the success of Tordoff Day in 1997, and registration with the Guild of One-Name Studies, the Tordoff Family History Society has been formed to further encourage collaboration and co-operation.
We are lucky to be researching Tordoff - it is a name with a long history concentrated in Wibsey, Bradford. It is sufficiently uncommon to be not too daunting a challenge, and there is a lot of interest from Tordoff descendants.
Our intention is to ensure that no Tordoff researcher pays again for information held by another, and to encourage everyone to share what data they have by establishing and distributing the Tordoff Database among our members.
