A Tordiff/McGowan Family reunion is being planned for the descendants of Joseph and Sarah Tordiff which include their children Elizabeth and John McGowan and John and Mary Ann Tordiff. It is hoped that many families will be able to attend.

PLACE: Ironton, Ohio (St. Mary Church Grounds, Pine Grove), USA
It would be interesting if participants would bring old family pictures; newspaper articles (e.g. obituaries, weddings, etc.), and/or other mementos that we all could share.
Place settings and drinks will be provided. Those coming from nearby, please bring your favorite covered dish. For those traveling a long distance there is no need to bring a dish. There will be plenty.
There is a registration form to confirm your intention to attend. Please confirm your intention to attend by July 10th. This will help us know how many to plan for. However, if after July 10th you find you can come, please come on. If you are on-line, the registration and questionnaire can be e-mailed to you. Please e-mail your questions to June Snead Calhoun.
Even if you cannot attend, we plan to compile all the information and will share with you. As the years go by we can plan other family reunions. We would like to continue the tradition of cousins knowing cousins and staying in touch.

Directions to St. Mary’s:
From Ironton: Rt. 93 to Ellisonville Park. Turn at the first left after passing the entrance to Vesuvius Lake - (Wayne National Forest). Follow the road to the Church. The church sits on the right hand side of the road. There will be signs posted at the turn and at the Church.
From South Point: US Rt. 52 south to Rt. 93. Turn left onto Rt. 93 from the exit ramp. Follow directions from Ironton.
From Wheelersburg, Portsmouth: US Rt. 52 north to Rt. 650. Turn left onto Rt. 650 from the exit ramp. Follow Rt. 650 to the intersection where the old Pine Grove store sits. Turn right and follow this road to St. Mary’s Church which is on the left hand side of the road. About ½ mile. There will be signs posted at the turns and at the church picnic area.
