In Your Pocket.

If you were dying of hungry, and I were to give you the price of a loaf of bread, I have given you a choice. You can either take the money, exchange it for a loaf of bread, eat and live, or you could put that money in your pocket and still die of hungry. With the money I give you, if you are willing to use it, it can save your life. The money itself does not save your life but it does have the power to purchase a loaf of bread which if eaten will save your life. But before this can take place, the money must be used and it must be used in the right place. In other words, you must get the money to the place where the bread is. No other place will do. Notice, when I gave you that money, I did not give you your life. I only gave you the purchase price so that, if you desire, you can purchase your life. See, it was the same way with the Prophet Elisha and Naaman. Naaman had a need of healing but the Prophet did not have his healing. (It lay beyond the seventh dip in the River of Jordan.), but the Prophet did have the purchase price of his healing. What was that purchase price? "Go, dip seven times in the River of Jordan. No other place would work because his healing was to take place in the River of Jordan. Now notice, the words of the Prophet did not heal Naaman. They only directed him to the place of his healing. When Naaman walked away from the Prophet's door, he knew what to do to receive his healing, but he did not like the "Store" (source: Jordan) where it was to take place. This is the trouble with many in this day. They don't like the (source) place where their needs are to be met. They do as Naaman did, turn and walk away in a rage. Unlike Naaman, too many in this day does not have faithful friends or servants to encourage them to give God's Store (the Word of God) a try so they never receive what they have need of. They have the money (Knowledge) that is needed but refuse to go to God's Store. For every need in the life of a Child of God, there is Money (knowledge of God's Word) to purchase it with. Let's take some examples: James 5:13: "Is any afflicted?" The price is: Let HIM or HER pray. James 5:14: "Is any sick?" Notice that in this case we can only pay part of the price. What is that? Our part is to call for the "Elders" (not just anyone), and the other part will be paid by the Elders. How? By anointing them and praying over them. Proverbs 16:7: "Need to live in peace with your fellowman? The price is: "Your ways must please the Lord". Malachi 3:10: "Need more money? And who doesn't?" The price is to "Pay your tithes" The results is: God will open the Windows of Heaven and pour you out a blessing that you are unable to contain. I have given you the money to get whatever you need, NOW GO SPEND IT!!!
