on earth but yours; no hands
but yours; no feet but yours.
Yours are the eyes through
which He is to go about doing
good; yours are the hands with
which He is to bless people now."

VISION STATEMENT
We, the church of St. Malachy, Brownsburg, Indiana, do affirm our mission as a growing Christian community to make real the teachings of Christ in the Roman Catholic tradition. This shall be accomplished through the power of God, the love of Jesus, and the prayers, involvement, and commitment of all parishioners.
ST. MALACHY
STEWARDSHIP PRAYER
Praised are You, O God, Creator of the universe, Who graciously bestows
all good gifts upon us. You have made us stewards over the world so that
in honoring Your creation we may honor You. Grant that we may use Your
gifts gratefully and that we may have generous hearts and minds. Help us
return to You in gratitude and in delight all the good things You have
given us. We ask this in Jesus’ name. AMEN
CONTINUED BLESSINGS TO YOU:
From our entrance into God’s family at Baptism until we stand before the Lord at the end time, we are called to serve in Jesus’ name. That is the essence of a child of God. How we do that in our lives is as different as each of us. That we serve with our lives applies to one and all. As Scripture says, "We are many parts, we are all one Body, and the gifts we have we are given to share."
Here at St. Malachy, we are many parts of the same body. As we enter a new millennium, a holy year of jubilee, we are once again called to serve as the Body of Christ. We do that by being good stewards of all the things God has given us—our gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
Enclosed in this catalogue is a host of ministry opportunities available for you, as a member of the Body, to share your gifts. Prayerfully consider each of the ministries listed on the following pages. Choose at least one ministry in which you, and each member of your family, can share your time and talent during this coming Year of Jubilee.
Having made your choice, please record it on the Time, Talent & Treasure Commitment Card you will receive in the mail.
If you are already active in one or more ministries, renew your offer of time and talent or join a new area of ministry by recording them on the card. The weekend of November 6-7, the cards will be collected at all the Masses in a special offering.
As the Church enters its third millennium, the Body of Christ needs to grow ever stronger. Here at St. Malachy we need your hands, your enthusiasm and your generous spirits. There is truly no limit to the good we can do in God’s name when we offer back to Him a portion of the life He has so generously offered to us. As men and women called to serve, let us joyfully put our gifts at the service of one another. When we do that in faith, this will truly be a Holy Year!
Peace,
Fr. Dan
