Pictures of Delbert Crouser, his son and grandson on an historic engine

Delbert Edgar Crouser, Sr. became Assistant Superintendant of the Texas and Pacific Railroad. One of the
historic steam engines, the Baldwin 10-2-4 Texas #610, the engine that pulled the Freedom Train in 1976,
was actually his when he was a locomotive engineer in the late '20's and 30s. That engine has been dedicated
to the people of Fort Worth and is now on display at Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas.

Photographs taken for the Fort Worth Star
Telegram
at the time of the dedication in 1952,
show Delbert Crouser, Sr., on the engine with
his son Delbert Jr., and grandson, Delbert III.
