The COSSEY Family Association DatabaseCFA

Hello, I am Debbie Cossey Wasserburger - The GenMaster. I am trying to help keep the COSSEY genealogical research active on the net.

Visit here to see my GenMaster Series and some of the major surnames in my database. Browse through the surnames and search for you and your family. A good idea, is to search for unusual names in your family. There is then a better chance for finding your line. All Cossey names that have been placed under the basename are those that can't be tied into a family line. There are over 1,000+ Cossey family pages. More will be added as we "COSSEY" researchers gather information. If you can't find your family, then we don't have it, and would love to get it.
To find where COSSEY, CASSEY, and CAUSEY or other varients were in 1850, 1880, 1920, and 1990, try different spellings at http://www.hamrick.com/names/

Please check out my WASSERBURGER homepage and the genealogy section. To see how the major surnames fit, check out the Pedigree Chart of Jesse Wasserburger II. , who is my grandson, and one of the youngest of my Cossey line. He now has a brother Sean Thomas.

Visit Lamar Cosseys' website and view our Cossey Sources and see if your relative is there. Lamar is part of our GenMaster owners, and is our major contributor on the COSSEY surname.

Visit two other COSSEY sites and their owners of our GenMaster series. Len & Wanda (Cossey) Thompson and Tami Ibarra has the Cossey/Chrisco Connection. We are sorry to pass on that Len Thompson died in July 2003.

Another great genealogy COSSEY Homepage is Jim and Cecilia Cossey. Jim is just getting started in the genealogy portion, but his page is worth checking out!! Visit the Cossey Family Crest Jim has from his grandmothers old papers from years ago.

Our newest Cossey webpage is Charles and Cheryl Cossey in Pope Co., IL. Charles is descended from Robert Wilkerson/Wilkson COSSEY, born April 13, 1823 in NC d. April 16,1893 in Pope Co., Illinois. We have found that one of his grandsons Leon was issued a "Cossey" Social Security Card in Alabama, so maybe they came up from the Hardin Co., TN bunch?

Jimmy Cossey II also hopes you'll check out Cossey Communications and a Scholarship webpage at http://www.teleport.com/~list/scholarships/jimcoii.sch

Visit CECIL RAY COSSEYwho is Alice Cossey Albrights' nephew, and the check out how his webpage is coming along. Check out his family pictures, and visit some Arkansas links.

Visit in Norfolk, England Alan Cossey and what he has found on the History of COSSEY family from Costessey. To contact by e-mail some of the COSSEY families, check out Alan's Cossey's of the World Address Book While you're surfing, drop a line to GREG COSSEY's Canadian branch when you visit his webpage. He's starting a COSSEY site on his Canadian COSSEY lines. Let's spread the word out there! We're sombody! So please visit and become a member of theCOSSEY Family Association We hope you'll be interested enough to be a part of it.
