My name is Shane, S-H-A-N-E! I can spell my name, can you? I'm 5 and can write my name! My sister Alison is a lot of fun to be with unless she's teasing me. My Mom and Dad take Alison and I swimming every week. I can go in the pool by myself now, just like Alison! Only I'm in a different class. We have fun jumping in from the side of the pool. I really like to put my face in the water and blow bubbles! Sometimes my Mom lets me play on the piano at home. I try to sing and play the piano at the same time. This past summer I played fun soccer. Games and practices were on the same night. I have fun and made a few really good friends. Now my Mom signed me up for karate. I love to play "Ninja Stars" with my Sensei. Ali and I just got our yellow belts. I had to do my blocks, kicks and punches. I also had to do a kata routine, but it was easy. Santa was really nice to my this year. I asked him for a Nintendo 64 with Mario and that's what I got! My Mom got Zelda and I play Monster Truck Madness with my Dad. It's a really kewl game and I can make the trucks burp!
I started kindergarden Sept. 7th, 1999. My mom is walks me to school every day. I like to play with the friends I made in soccer this past summer. My teacher is really KEWL! She tells me I do a great job with everything I try to do.
