                  She had a light stroke on June 2, 1963 and went into the hospital for the first time on August 4, 1963.  She came home from that visit on August 17, 1963.  She went back into the hospital August 28, 1963.  Susanna had an operation preformed on August 31, 1963.  A total of thirty-nine x-rays were taken form September 9 through March 9.
                 Mrs. Hastings passed away on February 18, 1964 at her home at 621 Ohio St. in Quincy IL.  The funeral arrangements were handled by the Derker Funeral Home.  She was buried in Greenmont Cemetary on February 21, 1964.  Susanna was 66 years, 7 months, and 13 days young.
