My grandmother, Ruby Hornsby Jones a.k.a "Johnny" went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 16, 2001. She was 88 years old and the last of Ora & Dona's children to pass on.

Thomas C. Hornsby, Civil War Veteran

I was told that Thomas C. Hornsby showed three enlistments in the Confederacy Army:  AL Cav. Moreland's Regt. Co. E, MS 10th Inf. Old Co. D, MS 41st Inf. Co. I.

Dony & Ora's Kids

Chalcedony  Collier Hornsby, married to Ora Enlow Hornsby. Her nickname sounded like "Dony" not "Dona" as the headstone suggests.
