This lighthouse is not open to the public, but the nearby beach is a great place for shelling.

This photo was taken during the summer of 1999, on a day trip from St. Petersburg Beach. It's a long drive, but very scenic. Along the way, we made photos of Sanibel Island Light, the two lighthouses on Boca Grande Island, and Egmont Key.
