Peter Pan is familiar to all of
us. His spirit of adventure, his zest and passion for life,
remain appealing through the years to young and old alike.
Who of has not wanted to be like Peter Pan, unfettered and
carefree, eternally young, with endless time to pursue fun,
excitement and adventures?
This page is dedicated to all
those families who home educate their children, who together
share the magical adventure of learning in this wondrous
world of ours. Their passion for learning, for discovering,
for advenutre, pays tribute to Peter Pan. And what an
exciting journey it it - surely it rivals any adventure
experienced by Peter, Wendy, John and
Michael!
A special dedication must go to
my son, without whom this page would not be. He has kept us
young at heart and brought much joy and laughter into our
lives and taken us on a true adventure into learning. Surely
Peter Pan must have been thinking of him when he told Wendy:
"When the first baby laughed, the laughter went skipping
about and broke into little pieces that became fairies." If
you could hear him laugh, I'm sure you would agree. No
doubt, each one of you is reminded of fairies when you hear
your own children laugh!
I hope that within these pages
you hear the fairies laughing and enjoy an adventure into
the world of home education. Enjoy your
visit!
From a woman who never
wants to grow up (and
isn't).......Marita
