Know all men by these presents that we Ephriam Haney, Hames Long and B. H. Bradley are holden and bound unto JJ Prate Ordinary of the District aforesaid in the full and just sum of One Thousand dollars current money of the said State to be paid ot the siad JJ. The conditon of this obligation is such that if the above ******* Ephraim Haney quardian for A.F. Haney N.P. Haney and Rachel Caroline Haney minors do and shall will and **** being***** the said minors above named during their minority and now age with *** meat drink washing lodging apparel and learning according to this degree, and shall during the time the said Ephraim Haney shall be guardian and tutor unto the said A.F. Haney N.P. and R.C. Haney defend them from harm or hurt of body ****** so far as in his power. And such portions as shall fall due unto the said Anthony F. Haney Nancy P. Haney and Rachel C. Haney or either of them of the goods, and chatells of any person whatsoever according to this inventory thereof or by any other ways whatsoever according to the inventory there of or by any other ways whatsoever shall observe and pay unto the said Anthony F. Haney Nancy P. Haney and Rachel C. The Petition of A.F. Haney of the District and State aforesaid showeth. That on Saturday the 6 Just Ephraim Haney of the District and State aforesaid died seized and possessed of Certain Real and Performance Estate consisting of one tract of land containing One Hundred acres more or less, the personal Estate consist of three Horses 5 head of cattle and a lot of Hogs farming tools Household and Kitchen furniture etc., That the said Ephraim Haney left him surviving two children to wit the Petitioner A. F. Haney and Caroline Bently the wife of Acquilla Bently also the children of Nancy Bently now deceased the former wife of Acquilla Bently. the said Nancy being the daughter of the deceased, Your Petition therefore prays that he may be appointed administrator of the effects of the said Ephriam Haney your Petitioner will pray.

the petiton of Aquilla Bently showeth that Ephriam Haney late of Union District departed this life on the day of A.D. 1862 entestate: That adminstration on his personal estate was granted by this court to Anthony F. Haney who departed this life on the 7 day of July last no having fully administrated on the Estate of Ephrim Haney

Your petitioner states that he is the son in law of Ephriam Haney and he has no son living-- your petitioner ****** the amount of the estate to be **fifteen hundred dollars but he has no certain knowledge----- Your petitioner therefore prays that he be appointed Adminstrator on the personal Estate of Ephriam Haney on the usual lines.
