First my will is that all my Just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my executor hereinafter named out of my estate I give and devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Nancy Tracy one Bed and Bed clothing to have and to hold the same during her natural life.
I bequeath unto my daughter Harriet Tracy my Horse named Bill or what ever horse I may die seized and possessed to her and her heirs for ever.
I devise and bequeath unto my two daughters Harriet Tracy and Elizabeth Tracy all that portion of land laying and being in the couty afore said on which I now live beginning at the corner on popular stump between my self and the Tom Scales land also Jessica Nance and my self said land now owned by Newel Smith running South along the Scales land to Post oak corner thence along the land formily belonging to John Griffin to a Sweet Gum corner at the Branch thence up said Branch to Newel Smiths line thence along Smiths line back to the begining said land to them my aforesaid Daughters during their natural lives at their decease to the heirs of their bodies but in case they or either of them die with out heirs then and in that case said land to be returned to the heirs of my body and equally divided among the same.
I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Nancy Tracy the reversion or remainder of my land during her natural life at her decease the said land to be sold by my executor herein after named and equally divided amongst the heirs of my son John Tracy my son Franklin W. Tracy my daughter Mary Adams my daughter Jane Adams My daughter Rebecca Hawkins and my son William Tracy.
I give and bequeath unto my son William Tracy one Bed two sheets two Bed Quilts and one Pillar.
I give and bequeath unto my two daughters Elizabeth and Harriet Tracy all of my cooking utensils and all the stock they claim consisting of cow hogs and sheep.
I give and bequeath to my said Daughters Harriet and Elizabeth all the beds and clothing they claim trunks and chests also Jugs and Jars.
And lastly I do nominate and appoint my friend Thomas Comer to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In testimony whereof I the said Green B. Tracy have to this last will and testament subscribed my name and affixed my seal this the 27th day of January 1879.
Signed sealed published and declared by the G. B. Tracy as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence ans in the presence of each other have subscribed our names thereto as witness.
