ALBERT

Florence Albert, age 87, Tuesday, St. Rita’s Home.  Formerly of 474 Stewart Ave. Charter member of Corpus Christi Church.  Survived by nieces, Margaret French, Mary Burkey, Aletha Birkefeld, Catherine Favor; nephews, Arthur, Francis and Ted Kempf, Edward, Bernard and Paul Held, and Sy Albert.  Funeral Mass 11 a.m.  Friday Corpus Christi Church.  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.  Family will receive friends MAEDER-QUINT FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St., Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary 3 p.m. Thursday.

ANDERSON

Mrs. Adelia Anderson, wife of John Anderson, died Tuesday afternoon at
4 o’clock at the family home in Washington Township, of obstruction of the bowels, aged 64 years.  Mrs. Anderson was born in New York City, October 16, 1847, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rhino.  She was married to John Anderson, July 11, 1863, and to them was born 11 children.  The husband and seven daughters survive.  Two daughters, Misses Josie and Alice Anderson, are at home.  Mrs. Anna Ell lives in Pike County;  Mrs. Matilda Croman in Washington township; Mrs. Elizabeth Whitson, Commercial Point; Mrs. Ella Furness and Mrs. Hannah Purcell; Jackson Twp.  The funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock and burial will be in Forest Cemetery.  Mrs. Anderson was a member of Renick M. E. Church.

James Anderson, son of Thomas and Sarah Davidson was born in Jackson Township on November 10, 1852.  He departed this life October 24, 1926, aged 73 years, eleven months and sixteen days.  He was united in marriage to Alice Updegraff on November 17, 1876.  To this union nine children were born, three of them and his wife having preceded in him to the spirit world.  The deceased leaves to mourn their loss six sons and six grandchildren.  Of his immediate family he is survived by three brothers and three sisters.  Mr. Anderson spent his entire life as a farmer in Jackson Township.

Thomas Anderson, one of the oldest citizens of Jackson Township, died at his home, Saturday evening, 8th inst., at 7 o’clock, of heart disease, aged 86 years.  The deceased was born at Rockfort, County Down, Ireland, and was the son of David and Hannah McKee Anderson.  With his mother he came to this country at the age of twenty-four and joined his father who had been here two years.  Mr. Anderson married Miss Sarah Davidson, who died a number of years ago, leaving seven children who survive the father; Jams and William Anderson, of Jackson Township; Joseph Anderson. Of this city; Matthew Anderson, of Scioto Township; and Misses Anna and Elizabeth Anderson and Ella Hall, who lived with the father.  He leaves on brother, John Anderson, of Commercial Point.  Funeral services were held from the family residence, Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o’clock; burial in Jackson Township cemetery.
