Shawn Butts

Shawn is my uncle, but also my friend. He has always listened when I needed an uncritizing ear. He was there if I needed a shoulder to cry on and was like a big brother to me. There were times when he would set me straight on the way I thought about things. He would say, "The world doesn't owe you anything." I felt it owed me everything for what I went through. He supported my decisions and let me make my own mistakes. I know if I ever need someone to talk to he would be there for me. My hat off to you. Thanks for being there and accepting me as who I am. I'll always remember and take it with me. Love ya.

Felix De La Cerda

My man! The one true keeper of my heart. How do I begin? This man has given me strength to do things I never thought possible. He gave me strength to go home and face my family while keeping my head high. Felix gave me the confidence I needed to be able to believe in myself enough to leave my bad marriage. He put some of my self-respect back when I lost it. He has been a rock to lean on when the winds of life were blowing hard. Felix opened me to a new love-a true love that I had forgotten even existed. He has shown me there is more to my life and more in life to enjoy. He taught me how to feel with my heart again, to experience things with my whole being, not with just my eyes and hands. Felix taught me there is more to a female/male relationship than what I knew. I could not imagine my life without him-even though it's only been two years for us-he has given me more than any other person has. I am truely grateful for having him in my life. Te quiero mucho, mi amor.-ahora, manana, y siempre.

Friends and Family

There have been many others who have touched my life in someway, there were those who were there for just a brief moment and others who have always been here. I can't begin to name you all but you know who you are and I want to take this time to thank all of you who have helped me through my journey. Whether it was a simple word or holding my hand through a difficult day, you will always be remembered.

I am blessed to have such good people to surround me all the time. I ask that God continue to bless me with good friends and family to surround me as I finish my journey of life. You all have your place in my life. I thank you generously.
