FIRST GENERATION
1. George Jacob SLOUGH
(1) died in 1811. He was born in Baden, Germany.. George Schlauch
(Slough), Yeoman (farmer) of German origin, emmigrated from Reading, Brecknard
Township, Berks County, PA with his wife Chatrina and 11 children to Upper Canada
in 1789. He was given a crown grant of 200 acres (Lots 2 & 3 of the 5th
Concession of Pelham Township, Welland County, and later granted 600 acres on
10 May 1797. Name changed to "SLOUGH".
He was married to Catherine
Anna GEIG on 28 Aug 1764. George Jacob SLOUGH and Catherine
Anna GEIG had the following children:

John Jacob SLOUGH was born in 1763. He died in 1838. Remained in the USA.
3 ii.
Rosannah SLOUGH was born in 1765. She died in 1847.
4 iii.
Mary SLOUGH was born in 1770. She died in 1843.

Barbara SLOUGH.
6 v.
Phebe SLOUGH was born in 1774. She died in 1845.
7 vi.
James Michael SLOUGH was born in 1775. He died in 1830. or 1857

Catherine SLOUGH was born in 1779.
10 ix.
Juliannah SLOUGH was born in 1781.
11 x.
Susannah SLOUGH was born in 1783. She died in 1813.

Chestina (Cristiannah) SLOUGH was born in 1785.
