Elizabeth Wall was born August 3, 1854, and departed this life Augu st 2, 1915.
Had she lived but one more day she would have been sixt y one years old. She
was united in marriage to Adam Slough, April 1 6, 1874, and to this union eight
children were born, three daughter s and five sons, all whom survive.
Mrs. Slough has been in failing health for the past few years and h as been
the constant recipient of tender care from the hands of her i mmediate relatives
and friends.
A few months ago she made an open confession of her inward faith i n Christ,
and obeyed the Lord in christian baptism and became a membe r of the church of
the United Brethern in Christ. She expressed an e arnest desire that her loved
ones might embrace the Christian religio n.
She leaves five sons, three daughters, a number of other relative s and a large
circle of friends to mourn her departure.
She was married to Adam Green SLOUGH
on 16 Apr 1874 in , Owen Co., Indiana, James Throop, JP.
