388. Adam GANN was born between 1732 and 1735 in Frederick County, Virginia. He died in 1812 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. He signed a will on 8 Mar 1812 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. Will of Adam Gann March 8, 1812 Jefferson County Tennessee

Blessed be God, I make this my last will and testament finding myself
in a low disposition of body
but in my rite reason and in my perfect senses. First of all
commiting my body to the yearth and
my sould to God who gave it. I think proper to fix my affares leaving
Adam Gann and Nathan
Gann executors of my estate. First of all I leave unto my beloved
wife Christan Gann all my
estate consisting of one negro in the home of my sone Adama Gann and
all my horses, ally my
cattle, sheep and hogs and household furniture to remain the hands of
my wife Christan Gann during her natural life or widowhood, then to be
divided equally amongst my three children Peggy
Gann, Hannah Gann, Danell Gann. Unto all my sons and daughters
begotten by my first wife I
leave one dollar to each of them. As witness whereof I have business
to set my hand unto.
