December 31, 1996 -- Our first full year on the internet has ended, and the first eleven months with this website. Fare thee well!
November 16, 1996 -- I have added a page of Terms and Conditions. (Why not?) It is important on the internet to remember that the internet is a global medium with all the strengths and weaknesses of having no precise boundaries.
November 15, 1996 -- New Zealand has arrived into my travel pages in full glory, thanks mostly to New Zealander

October 27, 1996 -- As a GeoCities Community Leader, I have been getting more e-mail with similar questions... all which I welcome! I have thus created my own "helper" page called fiery Astrid's e-mail FAQs. Please don't hesitate to e-mail me at astrid@muskoka.net, whether you have or have not visited this page though!
October 20, 1996 -- A new member arrived in our household today: still without a name, I just call him Puppy Darcana on the new Collies page.
October 18, 1996 -- A theme is growing in this website. Changes to the index and frontpage pages reveal the new theme, as does the new page Year of 1927... the year Lindbergh landed in Paris. Also, the Art page has been added.
October 15, 1996 -- I have been reading more of Ian S. Graham's HTML Sourcebook: A Complete Guide to HTML 3.0, New York: Wiley, 1996; second edition. As a result, I'm back to making more changes for the sake of ease and comfort in visiting my site.
October 3, 1996 -- The banners work fine, so continuing the experiment on other pages! While doing that, spending some time streamlining the pages: index.html, frontpg.html, ourspace.html, artmuseu.html, movies.html and isabel.html.
October 2, 1996 -- Experimenting with a GeoCities banner on this page today (see the graphic on top!).
October 1, 1996 -- New from Vancouver: here is my latest photo.
September 20 - 28, 1996 -- I plan to be away for about one week (Vancouver, Canada and San Diego, California). A bientôt!
September 19, 1996 -- I am honoured to have been accepted as a GeoCities Paris Community Leader.
September 17, 1996 -- The theme of the drama of light in art is continued with three new pages: the French Impressionists at impressi.html including the Continental Post-Impressionists, the Group of Seven and Emily Carr in Canda in canadart.html and links to the Art Museums of Canada at artmuseu.html.
September 16, 1996 -- Two of my favourite artists have been added to these pages, represented by lists of links. Rembrandt van Rijn is found on page rembrand.html and Leonardo da Vinci on page leonardo.html.
September 15, 1996 -- Many changes to many pages over the past few days, starting with the frontpage. The travel pages have expanded especially, and now include pages on travels in Canada, Scandinavia including Estonia and to Continental Europe.
September 7, 1996 -- LYCOS has been added to my page of search engines.
September 6, 1996 -- Changes. Fiery's included a surname: Terras. So the index page is slightly different.
September 1, 1996 -- My aviation page at flight.html has new links and new colours, and my bio.html page was updated and moved in the linear sequence. And I'm glad to say that our nine-year-old daughter is updating her kidb.html page.
August 29, 1996 -- More excellent Canadian News links added on fiery's Links page.
August 27, 1996 -- New page added: fiery's Links! The Frontpage and the text version of the Frontpage updated with minor changes on the other pages.
August 15, 1996 -- Just returned back from holidays. No internet access for over six weeks. But survived. Good to be back.
June 28, 1996 -- The Travel Page gained an extension today: the Traveller's Checklist!
June 25-27, 1996 -- The Norhammer Web Site, our commercial site in GeoCities, finally gains content.
June 24, 1996 -- Search Page layout changes.
June 20, 1996 -- Improved (hopefully) our travel page: Travels Through Our Space and Planet Earth...
June 15, 1996 -- Finally! The new What's New? section.
February 1, 1996 -- The first single home page of this web was created and appeared in GeoCities.
