LYNEDOCH
- Location: Regional Rd 21, east of Regional Rd 16, south of Hwy. 3
- Patrick McMaster deeded a parcel of land in the village of
"Falkirk" to Similda Mandeville on
October 28, 1853.
- Originally called "Stirlingshire", it was later
named Lynedoch after Thomas Graham, Baron Lynedoch.
- Interesting sites: Homes dating back to the 1870's; Cranberry Creek Farm with it's collection of interesting buildings; Baptist Church built in 1881, and a small cottage that was used as a Bank of Commerce (both the church and bank were moved here from St. Williams south of here).

I have gathered the above information from several different sources, over the years,
and believe it all to be true. However I very much welcome any corrections anyone may be able
to give me and with proper documentation (via email), changes will be made promptly.
Thanx .. chaos ...
