In the 1930s, the McIhennys acquired an 800-year-old statue of a budda that had been stolen hundreds of years earlier when a temple in Japan was looted by an invading army. The family built a pagoda on a lagoon to house the budda. The pictures below show the lagoon, a stone bridge and the pagoda that houses the budda.
