I loved your site. I really wish I could teach my 14 yr old daughter and 10 yr old son at home. You are absolutely right about the "character building" skills being completely left out of public schools. I have taught my children to respect peoples ide

Then, my daughter started listening to "gangsta rap". At first I was so upset, I forbid her to listen to it. We had many, many discussions about it. I tried to explain why I didn't think she should listen to it. "But, everyone else is," she'd say. We
l, I finally realized that I should trust her to find the evil in it, by herself. So, we were in the music store the other day. I told her she could get any CD she wanted. Of course, she went straight to the Rap section. But, she ended up buying "DC T
lk"... a Christian Rap group. I was SO proud of her decision! She listens to it all the time now. I still don't care much for the music *grin*. But, their message is clearly a good, Christian one.
