As a breeder I have had several honors and awards given to me, and dogs I
have bred in the few years I have been showing. I am going to take this
page to tell of another one of those honors and awards.
On September 27, 1997, my chocolate special, Ch. Heartland's In The Nicka
Time, was awarded BOB over 105 Pom entries, including 18 specials at the
shows held in North Carolina in conjunction with the Pom Specialty. To have
an exotic receive this was in and of itself an honor, but to have had the
total support of fellow Pom lovers and exhibitors was far more than I could
ever have imagined. What a great day for Nicky and I, and what a great day
for the Pomeranian breed!! At this show a brindle went Winners Dog also,
testament to the fact that quality comes in all colors. A statement was
definitely being made!!! A very special thank you also to judges, Mr. D. Roy Holloway from the
regular classes, and Mr. Frank Sabella, who did the toy group. For without them, this special day would not have
come to pass.
Nicky went on to win a group 3 against some of the
most outstanding toy dogs in the country, cheered on by his loyal following
of supporters. My special thanks to friends, fellow Pom lovers, breeders,
and exhibitors for their support and encouragement, and to those judges who
have put up quality Pomeranians in any color. For without them, none of this
would have been possible. Last, but definitely not least, to my little
chocolate buddy who showed his heart out for his mom and did everything
right and made her ooooooh so proud, Ch. Heartland's In The Nicka Time.
