All About Haze

        UPDATE
Well, we have finally moved into our new home. And I have to tell you, I was really scared there for a while. Boxes, Boxes everywhere!! But I love this new place. Right now, I have the whole garage to myself, and when it's hot, mom and dad let me go into the basement where it's nice and cool. They are waiting for someone to come out and put up a fence in my yard, so that I can have even more room to run and play. Watch for upcomming pictures in my new backyard.

        Woof, Woof
Grrrrrrettings everyone. Gosh, I just can't believe that my mom is putting a page jup just for me!! And I don't even have to share it with that 'new addition' we are getting!
Anyway, my name is Ace's Haze Leigh VonCove, or Haze for short. I came from Ace's Kennels in Tenn. I was born in 1992 and just turned 5 yrs! I started out in a not so nice place. This lady got me, and kept me in a cold, drafty old barn. I was always yelled at because I would chase the chickens, and never played with. In 1993, my first owner took me to this one place to stay for a while! (my present family) I heard them talking about keeping me for a while until my owner could find me a new place to live, and my owner was going to pay all the bills. This new place was WONDERFUL! They had a nice fenced back yard, kids that played with me all the time, they took me for walks all the time, (trying to do something called 'training'), I always had food in my bowls, and this new person even made me a specail bed IN THE HOUSE!!! Then the dreaded day came! My other owner stopped paying for my needs, and this new place couldn't keep me. I started to get really scared. Then one night, I heard the new people talking in the other room. I got up from my warm bed, and walked over to the kitchen to, and looked into the living room! THE NEW OWNER WAS CRYING! The man was saying something about a new baby, and the contract my other owner had signed, and the lady was saying that my training was comming along GREAT, I was good with the kids, (even the baby), and that I had become like a part of their family! Then they both looked over at me! I dropped my head, and lowered my ears and just looked at them with my big brown eyes. Then the man called me over, started scratching my ears, and just smiled! IT WAS OFFICIAL....I had a new home!!! And that's where I am today! I take very good care of my two-legged family! My mom is just the best. She always comes outside to sit with me, and lets me sleep in the house when it gets cold! Last year, 1996, I even alerted them to a fire in the house, and saved my mom and Tiffany! Unfortunatly, my family's luck continues to go bad. *sigh* My mom just found out in 1997, that I have Hip Dysplasia really bad. We counldn't understand what had happen, since two previous x-rays revealed that my hips were fine. But we quickly found out that the vet taht had done those x-rays, had faked them to make it look good when it actually wasn't. (Due to legal reasons, we cannot name the Vet at this time.) It made my mom cry alot! But i was always there, right by her side. And she doesn't treat me like I'm crippled. She still lets me play and run when I can. But I'm getting old these days. And like my family, my health isn't that good anymore. That's why mom says she is getting a new puppy. Yet another German Shepherd. I guess it's ok. Mom says that he is not going to 'replace' me. And it will give me someone to play with now that all the two-legged kids are in school all the time. Not to mention that I will have someone to teach everything I know, so that when my time comes, I will know that there is someone there to continue taking care of my family. Ohhhh, Mom hasn't forgotten about me one bit. She still takes me places, plays with me, and lets me love her as much as she loves me!!
Mom is trying to fit alot more of my pedigree in, but this is what she has thus far. It's not EXCELLENT....but it's good enough for my family!
