Dale Thompson
I recently sent an e-mail to Dale Thompson, lead singer of the Christian rock group BRIDE. In this letter I asked him a few questions and the next day he sent me answers to most of the questions. Well anyway enough for the intro. here are the questions and the answers he sent me.
Favorite verse: There are far too many verses to consider to have a favorite. I do enjoy the book of John and the 8th chapter of Romans a great deal. The great thing about the Word of God is that everytime you pick it up to read it, it always says something new. It is the only book that has life and personality.
Favorite fast food: I like Chinese fast food
Favorite group other than your own: I have no favorite group, so many bands have good and bad songs I like the good ones but so many bands have at least one good song. I do enjoy playing with certain groups though, Nailed is fun to hang out with and The News Boys are always a riot.
Favorite Book: I enjoyed the book Upstaging God by Pelle Karlsson a great deal. It is the perfect book for all musicians.
What do you think Heaven will be like: Heaven, eye has not seen nor ear heard nor has it been recorded what God has in store for those that love him. If you could ever figure out what is meant by God is the begining and the end the first and the last then you could maybe imagine what heaven will be like. It is far too deep and we are so limited in these natural minds to conceive such spiritual things. That is why when you read God's Word you get something a little different from it each time. God spoon feeds us because the natural man cannot receive so much spiritual knowledge all at once.
While I was putting this page together I was thinking, If someone like Dale Thompson, a big time Christian rock star and someone who knows nothing about me can take the time out of his busy day to respond to me. Just think what Jesus someone that gave his life for me is doing for me right now.
