Tonight (technically morning)I think I'm just going to ramble.
For those who collect cute things kids say: When I asked my son why he couldn't behave at home as well as he behaves at school, he replied, "But, Mom, I work so hard at being good in school that I'm just too tired to be good at home."
I just found out that in Oriental Astrology, I'm a water dragon. Water dragon? I wonder if that's the same as the Loch Ness Monster?
Speaking of astrology, I have a really messed up chart. For those who are interested and know a bit about these things, here are some of the signs that my planets are in:
To start with--I'm an Aries with Virgo rising
- Moon in Leo
- Mercury in Aries and in conjuction with the sun
- Mars in Scorpio
- Venus in Pisces
Some things remain the same. Today, I noticed my niece sitting at the kitchen table with an apple. She was twisting the stem and counting the turns using the alphabet. My son was doing the same thing. I don't know if the guys ever did this, but, when I was a little girl, the letter of the alphabet that the stem broke signified the first intitial of the person you would one day marry.
Hmmm. I wonder if that's why some people get divorced and remarry so often? Maybe they just twisted too many apple stems. ;)
