Terry's 3M's

It's not even 6:30 AM and I have several chores done already. It makes me feel good to get things accomplished early in the day! But, it's also why I need a nap in the afternoons...that and the fact that I seldom get to bed before midnight.

I'm going to see if this new format works on an entry before I change the journal home page.

This is going to be really short because my thoughts are dull today. All I can think about is the fact that these 4 kids are the messiest kids that I've ever seen!

One of the kids has the chore of picking things up off the floors and putting them away. Sounds simple. It is simple. It should take about 15 minutes a day. The only thing is, she doesn't put things away. She hides them. And I pulled out all the stuff that she had shoved on the cabinet that is supposed to just hold their games, and all the stuff that she had shoved between my desk and the wall. Between playing around, complaining, etc, it took her over 3 hours to finish last night. And I still haven't checked to see if she hid anything behind the bookcases.

Why all this hiding of things? I don't understand! And the other girl hides dishes that she is supposed to wash. I think my son has stopped hiding his dirty clothes under the bathroom sink.

And be careful of your words! They will come back to haunt you.

The other day, they all knew that I was having trouble eating because my teeth hurt so badly. [The upper wisdom tooth pushing the ones in front of it forward.] So, I got some of my words thrown back at me--"You'll live!" "Live with it!"

The horrible thing is that they were saying those things with such joy!

Note: these bars and buttons aren't quite what I wanted. I'll be looking for others tomorrow.
