Hello Stephan. I am descendant of Pierre Bonvivant Dufour, Marine of the French Army who came to Detroit/Windsor 1749 and stayed hear. All 16,000 plus say hello. Our name is still spelled Dufour and had a very big impact in the development of Essex Count and Michigan through the years.

Hello to all. I'm originally from a small town 45 minutes outside of New Orleans but I'm now living in London. Believe it or not, there's even a Dufour St. in Soho, London! I think there are quite a few of us scattered around the world - US, Canada, Franc , England, and I even discovered a couple in Mexico close to D.F.
