Word find Quiz

Abel, the second son of Adam and Eve, was a man who did what was right in God's eyes. He was righteous. He must have obeyed God in his life because God liked his offering.

Abel was killed by Cain because Cain was angry that God didn't like his offering but liked Abel's and because he was jealous of Abel and his relationship with God.

A lot of people have died because they wanted to please God more than anything else. And Jesus died for us so that he could pay the price for our sins. God loves you and you are his special child if you love him..

What's good about Abel?

  • He offered pleasing sacrifices to God which meant that he lived a life that pleased God too.
  • He was the first Martyr, which means that he died because he was doing what pleased God.

What can we learn?

  • It is good to live a life that is pleasing to God. How can we do this? By reading and obeying the Bible, by praying to him and thinking about him and how we can please him.
  • The price for our faith may be high. Abel lost his life because he did what was right but he is with God now and forever because he did it.
